  • Tunneling

I just started using a Para-soy blend fir my candles. I heat to melting point. Add 10% per lb fragrance, stir fir 2 minutes & heat to Flashpoint. I pour slowly & let set. I end up with a pretty good sized tunnel from the top all the way to the bottom right along the wick. Ive never had this happen before using any other wax. I melted more & filled up tunnel & after setting up it STILL had a tiny tunnel along the wick. Anyone have any ideas?

You did nothing wrong, parsoy has massive sinkholes. It's due to the wax shrinking as it cools.
You also don't need to worry about flash points, those are only for shipping oils and if they're near an open flame.

The heat gun worked perfectly to fix this problem. Thanks!
